Mike Quackenbush & Jigsaw vs. Erick Stevens & Matt Cross

Stevens uses his power to overwhelm Quackenbush. Quackenbush sweeps out his legs and drives his knees into his chest. He puts on an Octopus stretch. Stevens walks over to Cross with Quackenbush applying the hold. He releases upon seeing the tag and tags in Jigsaw. After a wristlock exchange Jigsaw takes Cross down with a couple armdrags and crucifix pins him for two. Cross sweeps out Jigsaw’s leg and drops an elbow. Jigsaw tries a headscissors but gets dropped on his chest. Stevens and Cross beat down on Jigsaw until he gets his knees up to counter Cross’ split-legged moonsault. He tags in Quackenbush who headbutts Stevens in the chest. He drops him with a running elbow to the head. He avoids a double back drop and tricks Cross into chopping Stevens twice. Quackenbush and Jigsaw attack their opponents in opposite corners. Jigsaw brings Stevens down with a Leap of Faith. Quackenbush follows with a Swanton. Cross breaks the pin. Jigsaw misses a top rope legdrop. Cross comes in. Jigsaw catches him with a kick and sets up the Jig N’ Tonic. Stevens lariats him, causing Cross to hit a Yoshi Tonic for two. Stevens gives him a belly to back suplex. Cross comes off the top with a twisting moonsault for two. Jigsaw flips out of a double suplex. Quackenbush tags in. He drops both opponents in a reverse DDT/DDT combo. He gets two with a Black Tornado Slam on Cross. He applies a cross armbreaker. Cross gets his foot on the ropes. Stevens shoulder blocks Quackenbush to the corner. Jigsaw elbows and enzuigiri’s Stevens. Stevens blocks a superkick and clotheslines him into the mat. The Doctor Bomb gets him the win at 12:26. Very impressive outings from both teams. This was the type of energetic, fun tag match that opens the show to get the show started on the right foot. ***
